Weeks 24 and 25

Last week, I just didn't feel like posting a weekly update, not even to my 101/1001 LJ. So this will be an update that covers weeks 24 and 25.

These past two weeks, I:

...revised Goal #023: instead of going to San Diego Comic Con, I will review every new movie I see (separate from my goal to watch X number of Foreign Films).
...watched New Moon because my friend had bought the DVD and wanted to hear my thoughts on it.
...read 3 books: Stacey O'Brien's Wesley the Owl, Toby Barlow's Sharp Teeth, and Haruki Murakami's Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman.
...failed to write more than 400 words.
...played with our new kitten!
...helped save someone else's kitten from being crushed by a car.
...enjoyed CA's unusually cool summer. This is August? This isn't like any August I've ever experienced.

So Aug 9 will mark my 6-month mark. Rather than thinking about how little I've really accomplished, instead I'm going to being happily amazed that I'm still sticking with this six months later.
